Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (29 September 2025): Moore Malaysia was honoured to host the Moore APAC Audit Conference 2025 at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, bringing together audit professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region for two days of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and professional exchange.
The conference provided a platform for audit leaders and practitioners to discuss key developments shaping the audit profession. Moore Malaysia was proud to be represented by a delegation of 22 partners and directors from across its offices, reflecting the firm’s strong commitment to regional engagement and continuous learning.
The conference was officially opened by our Managing Partner, Stephen Wan, who delivered the welcome address. The programme also featured contributions from two Moore Malaysia partners as speakers, who shared practical insights and perspectives on current audit developments and professional practices.
The agenda covered a range of technical and strategic topics, including ISA 600 (Revised), updates on IFRS, the use of innovative audit technologies, IT audit considerations and global quality monitoring. These sessions reinforced the Moore network’s collective commitment to audit quality, consistency and excellence across jurisdictions.
Beyond the technical sessions, the conference offered valuable opportunities for regional networking and collaboration, enabling participants to exchange experiences, discuss common challenges and strengthen professional relationships across the Moore APAC network.
