Sustainability in Action
Earlier this morning, over 100 Moore Regional Conference delagates visited Taman Tugu, a beautiful urban forest park in the heart of Kuala Lumpur to explore collaboration opportunities with sustainable society and project partners.
After a brief introduction by Ms.Tracey Surin, Head of Brand Communication of Taman Tugu, our delegates spent about 30 minutes on the 1.5KM hiking trail sheltered under a thriving canopy of 5,000 indigenous trees and 1000 species of flora and fauna, including Malaysia’s national tree, the Merbau.
Taking a step forward for sustainability, Moore Malaysia invited Ms.Terrynz Tan from The CAREton Project to engage with our delegates, aiming to raise environmental awareness and contribute to a positive change in both the environment and our community. The CAREton Project , an initiative launched by Nestle and Tetra Pak promotes the collection of used beverage cartons, recycling them into roof tiles and panel boards.
This year, Moore Malaysia has initiated several sustainable practices, including adopting twelve trees in Taman Tugu and installing four CAREton Project collection bins in our KL office to raise recycling awareness among our staff.
